I am sorry, I think this segment is divisive. Jazz does not belong to a single race. If you featured, "White Heritage Month," and featured the music of Bix Beiderbecke, Benny Goodman, and Jack Teagarden, you'd lose funding and have a woke mob at your doorstep in the morning. But when it comes to "Hispanic Heritage Month," overt racism is not only allowed but prominently displayed. This show is a small example of how the country and its people -- all of its people, of all races -- are being cordoned off from one another and encouraged to do so. In the house I grew up in nobody cared about the race of Ramsey Lewis, Arturo Sandoval, Dave Brubeck, or Keiko Matsui. It was just jazz and just awesome. Your station used to manifest a belief in that. I miss those days. Listener since 1987.
